Inspired by the flickers of light on the water at sunset as a storm approaches and whipped across the surface of the water I was caught by the ripples of color on the dark surface of the water. The view across the water is of a mostly forgotten Civil War battlefield and provides moments of contemplation through the often misty moments through the trees and woods surrounding the area.
