Joy in the Cosmos

This is an example of a painting that differs from my original vision. I Used a ring pour technique and was going for a monochromatic theme. As it was stretched, I noted the ethereal image that was being created by the flow of the layers of paint, one on top of the other. As I studied it, I felt although beautiful it was missing something. It felt lonely. I then added a ribbon of color to create a more joyful image. I hope you the viewer can find joy in it as well
